Recording ST7:
Audience taping is permitted at most shows, unless a particular venue or festival policy overrides it. We will do our best to inform venues & festivals of our desire to allow recording.
All taping is audio only with microphones only (no soundboard patches).
No video devices are ever allowed.
Recording is permitted from the audience only, no on stage recording will be allowed. Please use common sense when
recording ST7. Do not set up microphone stands in a manner which blocks the view of the stage from the FOH mix position.
Please bring portable power, as AC will not be provided.
Finally, tread lightly on our band and our crew and the other members of the audience around you. The enjoyment of the audience at a show takes precedence over recording efforts. This means that tapers should not require others to be quiet or otherwise interfere with their enjoyment of the show.
Follow these simple rules, and taping at ST7 shows will be ensured. Thanks for bearing with us during the dark time, when we did not allow it.
Certain individuals forced us to make that decision, and we hope not to have to make it again.
